"Cash"

INVESTERS DREAM DOC is registered with the American Paint Horse Association (solid bred) and with the American Quarter Horse Association.  He is eligible for registration with PtHA, AIHR, PHBR
and possibly FQHR at (unofficially) about 90%.

Cash is an athletic, ambitous young fellow!  He is very smart with plenty of independent spirit!!  He's willing and trainable, but smart enough to find a "way out" if you let him.  He has had quite a bit of groundwork done, but traditionally we don't start a horse until they're atleast 2 1/2 or 3.  We do this so that they have time to grow naturally and really get to finish growing up the way a horse ought to.  Cash has had a few saddles on him, and he accepted them willingly, but he has  not been heavily started into any training.

Cash has had the pleasure of spending the last year on pasture to learn how to be a horse.  The first year of his life was spent primarily in a pen, being spoiled to the point that he couldn't even figure out how to put his head down and graze when we first turned him out.  It took a solid month for him to get into the swing of things.  He is now a happy, well-rounded horse who is quite content to be out with his herd.  Pasture life has been wonderful for Cash.  Not only has he grown, physically, he has grown by leaps and bounds, mentally,
as well.  Somewhat sadly, we've chosen to geld Cash, for several reasons.

Cash is currently almost 15hh.  We fully expect him to outgrow his sire and finish about 15.1hh,
probably near 1100#.

Prior to gelding, we did breed Cash to our mare, Kiechi Apollso Foxy "KC".   We are looking forward to this foal.    There's a possibility our mare, "Coyote" might also be bred to Cash.

Cash will be started, this year.  We are in negotiations with an exceptional local horseman to begin Cash's training within the next couple of months!  We fully believe that this will be an excellent match and are very  excited for what their combination will bring!  Cash has siblings who are finished barrel horses and we think he might make a good calf-horse.  Time will tell!

Just a note about my saddle, it's looked "big" on 16.2hh, 1200# TBs. LOL With Cash's little short back, we discovered, in a hurry, that hubby's more Wade-styled saddle worked much better for him! (Much to my dismay!)Summer 2012, first bitCash and Trixxy on pasture
